iv is an SDL-based image viewer.

To compile:
make main

To install, with $INSTALL_DIR somewhere in your $PATH:
mv main $INSTALL_DIR/iv
cp alpha_checker.bmp $INSTALL_DIR

To make iv the default, if on Linux:
ULSA=/usr/local/share/applications
[ -d $ULSA ] || mkdir $ULSA && cp iv.desktop $ULSA

To see further docs:
iv -h
